Evergreen Outpost is Bringing a New Breed of Food Pod to East Vancouver

Move over, basic parking lots…there’s a new “top dog” in town! If you’ve driven past the Dutch Bros on 138th Avenue recently and wondered why the dirt is moving, we’ve got the scoop. Construction has officially kicked off on Evergreen Outpost, a massive new hangout hub that’s about to make East Vancouver the envy of the Clark County food scene.

The Big Dog: Tucker’s Taps

At the heart of this 138th Avenue takeover is Tucker’s Taps. Named after the owner’s legendary four-legged best friend, this 3,200-square-foot tap house designed for serious lounging.

Nine Carts, Zero Boredom

A tap house is only as good as the snacks surrounding it, and Evergreen Outpost isn’t playing around. They are curating a “pack” of 9 local food carts to circle the wagons. While the specific lineup is still under wraps, the focus will be on variety and quality.

A New Power Trio in East Vancouver

With Evergreen Outpost joining the fray, East Vancouver is officially becoming a “Food Cart Pod Hot Spot.” This new spot marks the third major food cart destination to hit the area, rounding out a powerhouse trio alongside the massive Vancouver Station (the nation’s largest!) and the polished, family-friendly vibes at Oak Tree Station. While those two have set a high bar on 164th and beyond, Evergreen Outpost is bringing that much-needed community “hub” energy further west to 138th, ensuring no corner of the Eastside goes un-fed.

Fire Pits, TVs, and All-Season Vibes

Let’s be real: PNW weather can be “ruff.” Evergreen Outpost is leaning into the elements with:

  • Heated Outdoor Seating: To keep the “freeze” away from your fries.
  • Fire Pits: For those peak cozy autumn evenings.
  • Big Screens: Because catching the game is better with a local IPA in hand.

Evergreen Outpost is currently a work in progress, but it’s slated to open in Fall 2026. Keep your eyes on the construction…and maybe start working on your pup’s “good boy” manners now so they’re ready for the patio!
